20 weeks = halfway there :)

Today is the 20 week mark! I can't believe it! It still feels surreal that we are going to have a baby in September. We've been working on a registry, but I'm still paranoid about buying anything for baby girl. We've got the car seat for the Mustang so we can at least bring her home!

We do have a name picked out for baby girl (and it's awesome)! However, we're keeping it a secret until she arrives. We want to be able to save something for a surprise :)

I can feel her movements more often, now. It's a daily occurrence which is great. I can't wait for Mark to feel her moving around.

This is getting exciting :)

It's a GIRL!!!!!!!

As most of you know, Mark and I had our anatomy scan yesterday. We found out LG is a girl! We are so incredibly happy and it is fun/weird calling her by her name (which we are keeping a secret until she makes her appearance).

Everything on the anatomy scan looked good so far. Dr. Egley, the specialist, said that doesn't guarantee everything is perfect. But, everything they were able to see at the scan looked great! It was very much a relief. We were also told that starting at 27 weeks we would start going to his office every week. At every appointment, they will do various tests to make sure baby girl is developing the way she should. We will also have a scan every 3 weeks so they can measure and make sure she is doing well. It's really comforting to have this kind of service. This will help detect any kind of stress baby girl may be under because of my clotting disorder. Then if there are issues, we will know right away and can take any actions that we need to. Good thing I really like this doctor!

Baby girl was being somewhat uncooperative yesterday. Her feet were up by her head the entire time! Mind you the scan was a good 20-25 minutes. She must've been comfy! I had to roll around trying to get her to change her position. She never did :) It was hard for them to get measurements of her head. We really didn't get to see her face because her feet were there. She also kept putting her hands up by her face.

Food and Weight :)

I've been so very proud of myself this whole pregnancy. I've only gained 1 pound since becoming pregnant. That's right 1 POUND!

BUT.........I am starting to feel hungrier more often. I think my weight is about to increase (which is GREAT if that is what LG needs).

Oh, yeah. We are 18 weeks along today and have our anatomy scan on Tuesday! Can't wait to hopefully find out if we are having a boy or girl :)

LG 17 weeks 2 days

We had our monthly appointment today. It went well. They were able to find the heartbeat with the Doppler. LG's heart was going strong at 145 beats per minute.

We go for our anatomy scan a week from today (April 17). We are hoping that LG is cooperative so we can find out if LG is a boy or girl.

I was so incredibly anxious today. I never do well when an appointment is coming up. Hopefully I can begin to relax at our appointments. I don't think so, but I can always try :)
