24 weeks 4 days

Well......I think it's safe to say that my amazing nights of sleep will continue to dwindle :) I've not slept super well all week. I think it's mostly because we have a lot to get done.

First of all, Mark and I decided to not buy a house this summer. We decided to suffer through a cramped year so we can make a bigger down payment (making responsible decisions sucks). It will be better in the long run. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, that means we get to figure out how to add a baby to our already bulging 1000 square feet. We've started the daunting process. We're moving our bedroom into what is now the den. It will be cramped, but I don't really want baby girl in a room with a sliding door. We are attacking one room at a time and pinterest has been amazing in aiding my brain with ideas for reorganization of every room (even the attic).

We are also CRAZY busy this summer! So many of our friends and family are experiencing life events right now and we want to be there for all of it. We will be in Auburn 3 of the 5 weekends of June: high school graduation, wedding, and BFF baby shower. (Quick reminder: Auburn is about a 6 hour drive from our house) Our shower is going to be in July in Auburn and we'd like to go on one last mini vacation to Chicago. All of our "get ready for baby" classes start in July and go into August. Then we have another baby shower and wedding in August. Now add in my weekly appointments that start on June 12 (on top of my monthly appointments). CRAZY SUMMER!!!!!!!!!!! But once all this is done, we will be learning how to be parents to literally the cutest baby girl in the history of the universe ;)

We got some great news with Mark's work, too. We were thinking that he would have to be pretty stingy with the rest of his 9 vacation days. BUT.......they're going to give him a week (with pay)! Anything after that he has to use vacation days. He was only going to have about 6 days by the time baby girl got here. So, this is very much a blessing.

Did I mention that we're also becoming an aunt and uncle about a week after baby girl gets here?

I'm hungry, so Imma go eat :) We are celebrating Mark's birthday today since we'll be driving to Auburn tomorrow. I've got some baking to do!
